Beat, beat, that generation and everything it was - does it still exist. Did the sixties happen or did we forget about that too? Why are we here and what does it matter if we aren't?
James Dean encapsulated all of this before most of it happened - it was there all the time of course, but things happen, evolve, happen again and so on.
I don't know, are there any beat writers out there still? Are they all gone?
Do we have to start over?
